- Talking to Meggy (hands-free phone, 3-hour drive home), plus Kate and Figgy--who was making dinner in Florida, some vegan pasta w butternut squash from the book I bought, Dada Eats..
- Seeing Sis, Lin, Joe, Libby, Buttercup. Laughter, love and strength for now and looking back with perspective and (mostly) honor at the family members we have lost (Judy, all three Garbarini brothers and their wives, our grandmother etc)
- Constructing first steps for essay.--in my mind.
