Here are my entries from 1973 [when I was 12] and 1974. Below those, what I would write now if I had the same narrow four lines.
April 22, 1973: For Easter, I got candy, Noxema [sic], a shirt and pink marker. We drove Sis back. I wore my pink lace dress. I am wearing my red nightshirt.
April 14, 1974: Happy Easter! The "bunny" left candy, gum, an eraser & a bobbing Snoopy statue in my basket. Joe, Jamie & Grandpa came over. We had a delicious Butterball dinner.
April 4, 2010: Went to church in Clifton with H., Fig, MJ, Tony & M. We all ate at condo w. Sis, Don & Papa. Papa old. Hope we have more Easters w. him. Got Fig and M. bunnies from Holsten's, Bloomfield place where last scene of "Sopranos" TV show was filmed.
