I know, I'm a tech dinosaur in some ways. But my cousin Linda asked me to scan my mom's 1945 Fordham yearbook photo. Here's the page. I'm hoping that if you click on it, it will be legible. [I think you might have to click twice on the scanned images?] My mom is in the middle. Wait till you read the copy--I love the copy for all of these young women! I wonder what happened to that caption master, if she followed the road of the written word...
And here is Figgy's portrait based on that, given to me for Mother's Day:

And here is the yearbook page that shows my mom's dear friend, Alice McDonald, who has lived in Denver for decades. Alice found my blog and has been in touch with memories of my mom, which I cherish. Alice is at the top.
Finally, here's the link to Alice's recent note to me [she said I could use it here, and I am grateful]: http://insearchoftruthandbeauty.blogspot.com/2010/10/roses-roses.html.
Long, hard day. Good night.

You did it!!! And I love the colorful copy, too. Your mom looked great-much younger even than how I remember her. Thanks for posting this... nice memories of a nice aunt. Love, Linda
