Life Is a Party for Punch

Punch is four now! We had a cake with roses today for her and Nikki's March birthdays. Nikki just turned nine.

Before Nikki and family came for dinner, and the girls danced in the living room to Justin Bieber, Punch and I:
  1. Walked Sug around the block
  2. Rang Christy's doorbell to stop in and say hi
  3. Ate tuna on rye that Figgy made us
  4. Played on Will and Maddy's swing set
  5. Played with Will and Maddy at the Braleys' playhouse [powerhouse Punch's request was that I be the bad wolf at the door, an unsavory role]
  6. Took out Figgy's old black car for a spin
  7. Hung around a little with Figgy and friend
  8. Walked to the playground with our neighbors to play soccer and slide
I am tired now. H. worked at a party today and then came home and made pizza for dinner. Figgy was pretty helpful--doing Punch's makeup, brushing her hair, putting on Sprout network. But now H. and Fig and pal drove Punch home and went to a movie--I am way, way, way too tired to join them. Life is a big rollicking party for Punch, and it leaves me picking up the pieces after she blows through. Still, I love that little girl. Just not overnight, not this time.

Good night.
