20 Words or Less, No. 4

I hope to zip down to Spring Lake [shown here]
for a few hours tomorrow. Photo by Ronald C. Saari
[Plotting to head to the ocean tomorrow for a few hours, by myself, to put things in perspective. I will then go back to regular posts, though I've enjoyed whittling reports down to 20 words.]

Hope on horizon. Grateful for friend Jean, mother of six, who stopped gardening to talk to me heart to heart.

TCOY
  1. Boot camp in the park.
  2. Lots and lots and lots of ice water; I hate the heat.
  3. Shower.
  4. Shampoo and blowout at Vamp--and booked same for next Friday. If you prebook, you save $5.
  5. Went to police station to pay long overdue traffic summons.
  6. Went to my favorite garden center to have iron planter replanted with what talented designer called "fruity" colors--pink, orange, green, yellow.
  7. Cleaned my office a little. Found journal notes of angst, and of content, that I wrote years ago--helpful to read now.
  8. Walked back from town [30 minutes].
  9. Short walk with Sug.
  10. Falafel on whole-wheat pita.
  11. Lit pretty green pear-shaped candle on mantel. Soft glow is comforting.
  12. Tracked my spending.
