Hello from ER

Friday the 13th @ White Plains Hospital ER. Figgy having bad stomach pains. We've been here since about 4:30. They took two Xrays and see a lot of air in her stomach and obstruction in colon area and need to put tube down to get air out and then do CT scan. Figgy is in good spirits since she hasn't eaten since lunchtime, but when she eats, it's very painful after. Last night, she was in pain, too.

That poor little angel. H. and I standing by her. All three of us drawing princesses, Sug, clowns and more, to entertain ourselves. Figgy doing some awesome sketches. And we're reading about Charlie Sheen's sad and crazy circus in Vanity Fair, and using H.'s laptop, which I'm on right now in waiting room. I stepped out for a few minutes to write this post.

But I better get back. Figgy staying overnight, I think, and that means maybe I am, too. Not sure yet how everything will unfold.

For the second Friday night in a row, had to cancel plans with Moey to shop and go to dinner. Bummer. What a shallow mom, to even mention that!

Thank you for being there, and listening. At times like this, I miss my Dad. He was always so caring and concerned. Now I am without a parent.
