Mistakes Were Made

We have lilies-of-the-valley. Even @ 50, I firmly believe that
good fairies can fit in those tiny white bells.

Yesterday was a good work assignment day but a hard eating day, involving Peter Pan crunchy peanut butter, Ghiradelli dark chocolate chips and six chocolate-dunked pretzels, and I couldn't post about it at night, as I always do, because Blogger was down for maintenance. Our good Figgy was feeling really sick, and in the face of that, I ate. As though eating would solve it, salve it, save it. Wrong. But at the time, I couldn't see the forest for the trees. But we can learn from our mistakes, right? That's why erasers were invented? And turkey burgers, and good pickles, and whole-grain bread?

Good fairies of the universe--yes, you, hiding in the sweet baby bells on the lilies-of-the-valley--please wave your magic fronds over our Figgy and make everything better.
