Sis and Don came over for Sis's birthday dinner. Figgy and I made a Mocha Chocolate Chip Cake--a recipe from Alice's Tea Cup that Sis clipped from the NY Times months back, her birthday request. I also made a couple of dinner dishes from Fine Cooking CookFresh. It was good to sip bubbly, pour tea, dim the lights and sing Happy Birthday to my sister, as she blew out pink candles and wore a pink crown. Later, H. played guitar and Figgy, Sis and I danced. These are the moments to remember.

- Walked to Iris Garden with Sis, H. and Sug. Some beautiful flowers in bloom--yellows, purples, lavenders, hybrids.
- About to take two Nyquil and go to sleep now. Have terrible cold, caught from Figgy.
