Ugh, behind the ball on prom dress shopping for M! We pulled something in online and it's a backup, but not "perfect." C has her dress (thank God), shoes and most accessories. She just needs a bra for the backless back and earrings. It is a milestone time and a happy time, but also stressful, no?
ReplyDeleteHi Kim.....when I shop with figgy, i always remember something a relative told me about her daughter when i asked if she helped the daughter choose her lovely wedding dress. "No," the mom said. "Laura always knew exactly what she wanted, even when she was a girl." that's kind of how it is with Figgy. she found a gorgeous strapless white gown at Macy's with her friends on Friday, put it on hold and we went back yesterday to get it. the juniors dept there has some striking dresses and not too expensive. I was surprised, as i am kind of a snob and would have thought to go to a fancier store. i know though that many girls are getting a couple of dresses and then deciding.....i also think that in-person shopping may be better in this case b/c the internet can be misleading. glad C has her dress and sure M will find a great one. love alice
