Set iPhone alarm to get beach fire permit. Am number 4 on line; got here before 7 with a single toasted coconut donut and iced coffee from Hole in One. That donut shop opens 5 a.m. and is wildly popular.
I love the air up here. And it's a blue-sky day Mother Nature delivered on a silver platter. H., Figgy and Olivia were still sleeping when I crept out of the house. And after I get our permit when doors open 9 a.m., I think I might stop by the Audubon and then go back to sleep.
