For years I've looked at the hand-painted ceramic salt box with handsome wood lid at Williams-Sonoma. Wanted it but resisted the high price. Today: 20 percent off. And it rarely goes on sale--I've watched. It was $47.96 today.
It will be my give-it-to-God box. I started already, writing worries, pain and troubles on small slips of paper. Punch also immediately lifted the lid and put a rock in it. Perhaps that stone is better there than in our shoes or under the mattress, causing great discomfort.
Anyway, I hope He can hear me.
