Steady snow here in Hermon, Maine.....it seems to have stopped now. Looked like we were in a snow globe. H. and I went to the 4:15 show of "American Hustle"--his sister, Eileen, and her husband, Mike, took Punch and Izzy to the children's museum in Bangor. It was a treat to go to the movies.
As my friend Kim wrote, I loved the look at the late 1970s.....Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams, Christian Bale and Bradley Cooper were great...I enjoyed a close study of the overdone hair, nails, dresses. I was a girl in suburbia then, but I don't remember women wearing such super deep necklines, cut down to there. Well, I do remember Cher on "The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour" in the seventies wearing some colorful, deeply cut pantsuits.
Good plot spins, too.
