Room with a View--and an Attitude

Have a terrible cold...moody teenager....defiant six-year-old...complicated web of people...long drive home tomorrow.....and we're in a suite for second night at the Comfort Inn Ocean's Edge in Belfast. Teen can hear my snoring from pull-out sofa and yells at me to roll over. H. and I sharing very big bed with very little person.

Feeling like I'm dysfunctional and so is everyone around me. About to step out on balcony and look at stars and water, then go to sleep.

TCOY

1. Hot tea.
2. Punch and I saw "The Nutcracker" as guests at the Colonial Theatre, owned by H.'s brother Michael and his wife, Therese. We sat in the balcony in Dreamland. The costumes were beautiful confections, so pink and sparkly. I know the music well, and it was soaring and rich, via the Mariinsky Ballet Company. If you're in the area, catch the show tomorrow, Sunday, December 29, at 2 p.m.
3. Fresh orange.
4. Good tooth care and hair care.
5. Nice visit to Michael and Therese's home for pizza party with nieces and nephews and rest of family.
