Scrabble & a Shovel

H and I took turns shoveling today, along with Dean and Julie--we have a very long shared driveway. As darkness fell, I also paid two strong high school boys $24 to finish our sidewalk and walkway to door.

Lisa invited a bunch of moms on the block to come with their kids and hang out for an impromptu snow day get-together. That's Lisa, above, with the train set she pulled out for Rowan and Punch, below, to build. It was great. Four moms played Scrabble and the kids banged drums, ate popcorn, and laughed. Antidote to going stir-crazy. I'm  tired from shoveling. Good night to you.
