Snow Day in Montclair

Punch and her dear pal, next-door neighbor Rowan, whipping cream to top the Easy-Bake Oven cake. Some snow fell on it when they carried the cake to Rowan's house, so I told them it was snow cream.
The joy of diving into snow.
Rowan plans a snowball.

It was a day of shoveling, coloring, squeezing small California blood oranges with Punch and Rowan so they could drink the juice and then watching them sled--with Rowan's mom, my friend Julie--until our toes froze.

Good night.

TCOY
  1. Setting up/syncing my sleek black futuristic fitbit flex bracelet that Sis and Don gave me for my birthday. It tracks steps, distance, calories burned and sleep. Should be great.
  2. Boot camp in the dome. Yes, Patsy drove a few of us there in the snow. Nothing holds her back. So we're all warriors.
  3. Extra fitness workout: snow shoveling.

  1. We totally missed any snow, too bad. I love a good snow day.

Let me know how you like the fitbit. I have a similar device and like feeding it more steps and calories. And I learned a lot about my sleep patterns. The first thing I learned was if you don't spend more than 6 1/2 hours in bed at night, you will never get seven or eight hours of sleep. I probably didn't need an electronic device to tell me that, but I overestimated how long I was giving myself in bed. You probably have an appalling short sleep time, based on how late you stay up and blog!

    Love,
Nan who is NOT an night owl!

I have done the syncing part....it's kind of overwhelming, all of the info you can input on the site. trying to figure out what the bracelet tracks. and guess what? Tory Burch is going to roll out fitbit flex bracelets/necklace pendants? in the spring. can you believe it? my sis got me this not knowing that....i love how the mod black bracelet looks and it's a good reminder but i', pretty much a floundering failure.....love, alice xoxoxo
