Heading to the Cape

Seeking a tonic for my soul, and excited to go. Figgy has been wanting to get up there for a while. We're taking her dear friend Boaty. 

I like it when Fig connects to nature. I hope it helps ground her.

Two nights, Friday and Saturday. Not at our family house bc it's 600 miles round trip and I want to be able to enjoy all time rather than spend Sunday cleaning. This way I can leave a tip and go.

It looks like a fancy resort--Ocean Edge in Brewster. Going rate for 1 BR villa w sleeper sofa in living room for girls was $215. I snore loudly and keep Fig up, so was going to get 2 rooms anywhere we stayed. Villa seemed like good solution.

I can't wait. I don't know what thrills me more--a pretty room by the water with A.C. or knowing I don't have to scrub the toilet before heading home Sunday.
