Shopping Local: My New Patagonia Skirt

They say this skirt can also be worn as a halter dress; check the link at patagonia.com. I doubt I'll wear it that way, but I love it as a feminine, comfortable, organic-cotton-blend, everyday to Sunday skirt. I snagged it at The Outdoor Store on Church Street in Montclair, when I zipped in to get shorts for H. for Father's Day.

I love skirts. I just do. They can be polished and pretty; they feel lovely and free. They call out for dangling earrings, a little bronzer and the heels I love.

I also bought a very pretty Patagonia dress for our Figgy. I got a gift receipt in case she wants to exchange it. Her style is edgier; she works at Urban Outfitters on Second Avenue in NYC. But she loves the beach, and the mountains, and her new white Adidas sneakers, so I thought this would be good.

Good night. H. out working at an event; time to get Punchy into the tub. It's late!

TCOY
  1. Morning support group. Helpful.
  2. H. had our car to work in the city, and drive Figgy there, so I paid our good college neighbor, who is home for the summer, to drive us to Cooper's bday party. Then H. picked us up.
  3. Did buy healthy snacks at Whole Foods: plump, fresh figs; baba ghanoush; etc.
  4. Nice hot bubble bath.
