So Much I Don't Know

I haven't even read about this show, but I like it.
There is much I am not privy to, much I cannot control. But I can hope and pray, pray and hope, and I intend to do that forever and ever.

I also pray for the strength to be present, to see clearly, to be strong. To stand tall and feel feelings without consuming a 7-ounce box of ginger sandwich cookies endorsed by the Queen.

Right now, H. is in California for a few days of work, Punchy went to sleep by 8:50 [!!!!!] and I had a chance to work a bit tonight and start watching "Younger," an entertaining show about a 40ish divorced woman who poses as a twentysomething to get a NY magazine job. Hilary Duff is great as her young co-worker.

It just popped up when I had the channel set to TV Land [#60 in my area].

Clipped some recipes [I love Melissa Clark in the NY Times] to try for Christmas baking. But hope to pack them up and give or ship them quickly so I do not overindulge. Also, Melissa likes this recipe for Rich Chocolate Cookies, from a cookbook I bought several years back: Great Cookies by Carole Walter. Even though I always go back to my basic butter cookie cutout recipe from the Chefs' Club at Dumont High School, I like to experiment every now and then with some other roll-doughs. I've flirted with lemon, cream cheese and others over the years--also delicious. So I think I will try chocolate.

Good night.

TCOY
  1. Boot camp, inside at Gary's studio. Kettle bells, ropes, etc.
  2. Walked Sug around the block.
  3. Got some green beans for side dish.
