A Grateful Good Night

H. just went out to watch some big basketball game with his pals--the front door just closed--but not until reading Punch Harry Potter til she fell asleep. I'm grateful he did.

Now it's me and Sug and Vanity Fair until he returns. 

Craving a change of scenery. Starting to plan time on the Cape over Punchy's spring break.

Good night.

TCOY
1. Support group. I truly learn and find strength and support there. Wise, compassionate friends.
2. Caught up on work emails.
3. I would say relaxed and watched some old "Sex and the City" episodes on HBO, but I'm realizing that too much TV on couch leads to unhealthy eating for me, especially with trigger foods like Punch bday party leftovers in the house: cheese, crackers, pizza, brownies, chocolate cake--and a glass quart bottle of fine chocolate milk from the farm. Avoided buying that for a dog's age, will do so again.
4. Warm bath with salts.
5. Decaf iced coffee plus refresher lesson from my friend Anne on how to use that French press I bought a while back.
6. Planning healthy foods for tomorrow, such as toasted whole-grain "fitness" bread, strawberries, iced coffee, roasted yams, lean homemade open-face reuben with mustard. And a walk with my doggy.
7. Many, many big red party cups of refreshing ice water to counteract poor #3 food choices. I was/still am thirsty from all of that sodium, sugar and starch.
