H. and I went to the Fireball fundraiser at Mayfair Farms in West Orange tonight. All proceeds go to Nishuane and Hillside elementary schools in Montclair. You know, silent auctions, themed baskets to win, etc. Very nice to see so many parents in our diverse town out to raise money for our children. So many sparkly and lacy dresses, high heels, pretty purses [and the men looked good, too]. We left about 10 p.m., in the hopes we were not outbid for the cookbook of recipes from Punchy's class.

2. Kept my regular dr. appt and got an Rx for routine mammogram.
3. Enjoyed seeing familiar faces at Fireball: Marni, Principal Jill McLaughlin, Beth and Dan, Moira and Mary, Tonya, Jason and Marie, Kathleen, Christie [sp] and Mark, Meredith, Carla [Luca's mom], Charlie's mom, Sammy K's dad, Alma, Trente, Courtney, Chef Karan.....
4. Punchy's Private Benjamin appt gave us a bit of hope and advice for a possible pathway.
