H. finally back home...he made us salmon, carrots and rice for dinner...plus fresh mozzarella slices w our garden tomatoes. While he cooked, I took poor neglected Sug out for a stroll around the block and inhaled the summer scent of honeysuckle over by Jody's house.

1. Walked to Starbucks to write, plus around block.
2. Gardened a bit.
3. Day 4 no sweet treats. Had pure apple chips and kale chips at Starbucks.
4. Lots of ice water.
5. Since Tuesday, I've been tracking every penny I spend in a notebook. I like being accountable to myself. That said, the apple and kale chips are pricey, about $3.95 and $4.95 respectively. I bet I can find them at a better price online. But hey, I've thought nothing in the past of spending nearly $4 on a small cupcake or $8 on a high-end chocolate bar.
6. I officially started my job search, with a contact.
