Just a quick flight over the laptop keys to say hello. It took H., Fig and Punch over 6 hours to get from Maine to the Cape yesterday, and let's just say they brought some crankiness in with their luggage. Punch can be quite a handful on a long ride. It's not a Norman Rockwell portrait over here. But still, I see beautiful moments. Last night, I took both girls to the beach and we saw many seals again, and a beautiful sunset. This morning, frogs and turtles again at the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.....the little frogs camouflage so well on the lily pad leaves....yet we saw four, plus a full-grown frog uncle in the water.
There's a gorgeous breeze today. We're going to go back and get H., and then we're driving to Chatham.
