Lights Out Soon

Grateful for Dan, who worked at an event this evening in NYC, came home, made popcorn in the pan, dashed off to Barnes & Noble to get the next Serafina book in the series to read to the princess tonite--after first making her promise that she will not fight us to wear a flowing crepe hand-me-down black dress from Figgy to school tomorrow. She was gunning for it and it's way too big. I did my part, too: Double load of dishes, dinner, then ubering* Punch to and from the chaotic Science Fair at school. And staying there with all of those presentation boards and vinegar volcanos. Good night. About to curl up with Cape Cod by Henry David Thoreau.
