Thanks to Catherine, who couldn't use her two tickets at the last minute and gave them to Karen, who invited me to go with her. We LOVED "The American Epic Sessions." I mean, we ate up every morsel of the recording sessions--bands rerecording folk, gospel, Appalachian and other music on a massive machine that was extinct until an engineer spent 10 years rebuilding it piece by piece.
