I’ve heard about Fire Island but have never been. My brother, John, hip young photographer, went a lot with friends in the ‘80s; Sis dated a fellow who captained the Fire Island ferry; my college friend, Megan H., talked about a family house there; and my friends Claire and Pat up the block say it's beautiful. I’ve driven past the signs for it on my day trip to Southampton./Tomorrow we are going and staying over one night! Punchy’s friend’s Dad has a family house there, and invited Punch, me and Dan. I can’t wait to discover another piece of wild beauty by the sea. I hope to report in from there. No cars allowed! So cool. Good night to you.
