I met some good TCOY [take care of yourself] goals today:
- Joe's 8 a.m. yoga and restorative class. So grateful I made it, and that I have a husband whose schedule allowed him to get Punch to schoolbus so I had the freedom and flexibility to go.
- Hot bath with salts from Blu Lotus store on Church Street.
- Wore pretty new Wacoal bra with lace.
- Biked to and from dental checkup.
- Showed up for that dental checkup/cleaning.
- Biked to and from Anderson Park with Punch for her 5 p.m. soccer practice.
- Roasted broccoli for dinner. My dental hygienist, Monica, is a great cook and often tells me about foods she has made, like marinated steak or roasted beet salad. Today she raved about roasting broccoli while she scraped and flossed my teeth. Dan, Punch and I loved the broccoli! Too bad Figgy was out. [I had a big bag of frozen broccoli florets. Place on baking pan, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with coarse salt and pepper. Roast on top oven rack at 425 degrees until browned and tender. Do not toss or turn broccoli. FYI, it shrinks a lot.]
- Nap.
- Moving ahead with work assignments and job search. One step at a time. Sometimes that means sending emails or reading documents on my iPhone from a park bench during Punch's soccer practice, as I did today.
Good night.
