Happy Easter, with Love

  • Marlboro Bake Shop, pretty braided Easter bread [like challah] with three cheerful pink hard-cooked eggs nestled in the golden-brown dough + 1 nondairy hard roll for Figgy + modest jar tip, $9.
  • QuickChek again, small bottle Diet Coke for Dan, $2.12.
TOTAL DAILY SPEND: $21.01.
MONTHLY SPEND AS OF APRIL 21: $2,496.39.
AVERAGE DAILY SPEND SO FAR THIS MONTH: $118.87.

MONEY THOUGHTS: QuickChek [open 24/7] must get a spike in business on holidays like Easter and Christmas. But then again, ours is a popular stop when school is in session for Montclair High School, so maybe it evens out....I was there twice today. I think a lot of people were stopping in for coffee/food before long road trips, too.
