Christmas Shopper, Accessory Shopper, Don't Even Want to Add Up This Dough

$ MONEY SPENT OUT OF POCKET
  • Montclair Bread Co., rosemary bread loaf, toasted ciabatta roll with butter, medium coffee and one small donut plus jar tip, $13.50.
  • Jackie's Grillette, large coffee with almond milk to bring to Figgy, who was at work next door, and fancy roasted cauliflower with peanut sauce and also roasted portobello mushrooms to take to today's book group lunch, way too expensive, $28.66. I was too tired and busy to buy vegs and roast or steam them.Wasteful. You will notice I added two new post labels: OVERSPENDING and SHOPPERS ANONYMOUS. I will try to highlight in color every day the OVERSPENDING items.
  • Saint Cassian Church Christmas Corners/Christmas Village. Someone once told me the holiday fair supplements the low salaries of the teachers at our parish school, so I'm happy to support it every year. $50 gift basket raffle tickets, $4 bakery table, $25 many paperwhite bulbs in planter, $22 given to Punch because she went for hours with her friends and there was food, etc. Equals $101.
  • Christmas gifts/stocking stuffers bought in town for Sis, Punch, Fig, $62.
  • Montclair Stationery, large padded envelope to mail a gift and special foil-wrapped chocolates for Christmas stockings, $9.
  • For work outfits, sterling silver and crystal necklace and post earrings, plus pink satin scrunchies for Punch and me, $142 [20 percent sale].
  • Williams-Sonoma holiday sale, Christmas gift set for Mimi and Poppy,, baking pan, special spatula, fleur de sel dish soap, $69.21.
