Punch has no school today [teachers’ cinference]. One of my writing checks arrived in the mail basket yesterday. And--Dan has a yen to drive up and get a cutting from a n old heirloom white apple tree we discovered in an abandoned seaside orchard a few Septembers ago. (The fruit is white, not the tree.) He said this week is the perfect time to propagate (?) it.
He has a dwarf apple tree that makes pretty blossoms and fruit, but the squirrels steal most of it. Dan had good luck last year with his peach 🍑 tree.
The forecast calls for wind and snow tonite and tomorrow and sun on Sunday, the day we drive back.
It doesn’t matter, weather or not. The weather is secondary to the beautiful backdrop of rugged ad delicate nature, in balance.
We are staying at a Sheraton in Eastham on Route 6. We have been there before and there’s a heated pool. Punch hopes to swim tonite but we won’t arrive til after 8:30.
I am just so excited to go back to my beloved Cape.
TTYL.
Here’s to spontaneous p,erasures! Enjoy!

Hi Nan and Liz. Thanks for the notes. I hope all is well. Still so happy we all got together last weekend. My computer won't let me put photos from my phone in my blog either, for some reason.....but I will try and post some fotos of what we have seen....Love Alice
