2. Pruned and clipped again. It's a jungle out there--forsythia, rosebushes, random gangly weeds. Brings to mind the reference that a child is "growing like a weed"---taking root and rising up, stretching to the sunlight

• Gave $20 to Punch yesterday when I knew Sis and I would be gone from 8:30 am til dinnertime to get to Uncle Jackie's Long Island funeral. Dan was home, but Punch was at loose ends and instead of sitting on device, this way she walked into town with a friend, etc. They bought snacks, drinks and candy at CVS. She has some money left in that little change purse.
