An ongoing quest for the meaning of life. Does true happiness exist in a Tory Burch turquoise-trimmed sheath, a MarieBelle Dark Chocolate Croquette bar, a rose garden, a rocky Maine beach, a daughter's eyes, an inky star-sprinkled sky, hours of computer keystrokes that tell a story--or all of the above?
Positivity during a pandemic - you are something else, Alice. Like your hacks, esp the remote support which has been huge for me too, and will stay helpful long after this has passed. And I loved learning of Sniffapaloosa, how fun!
ReplyDeleteSorry about the phone, know you are not alone.
Liz
Hi Liz. Yes, Sniffapalooza! My sister and I have gone in person, on and off, for years! It draws fragrance fans from across the country. It's cool. These virtual events cannot compare to our full days in NYC but they are enjoyable (and cost about $15 to register, then you usually get a promo or shopping code to order the fragrance). Sending love. Alice
DeleteJust read it and like it alot. I agree that there are definitely silver linings, but do I miss going out to restaurants! (We opted to continue with takeout rather than outdoor seating.) Anyway, take care. Love,Lin
ReplyDeleteYes, Lin, silver linings but also big losses for small businesses and restaurant lovers. Dan and I ate outside Saturday nite at a restaurant (we haven't been out to eat much) with heat lamps etc. It was a luxury. But when Annie passes a bar or restaurant with people eating inside, she gets really upset. Love xo
