Skippy helped out with the rosebushes today, cutting and tying little loops of twine so I could anchor the flopping branches (at the trellis) onto the nails Dan put up last year.
She also filled the big galvanized tin watering can twice to water the roses and she brought some bags of weeds to the curb for pickup.
I love this time of day, she said when we were out there near 8:30. We saw the moonrise.

Peter and I remind each other what a really good teacher told us -- you gotta catch them being good.
