An ongoing quest for the meaning of life. Does true happiness exist in a Tory Burch turquoise-trimmed sheath, a MarieBelle Dark Chocolate Croquette bar, a rose garden, a rocky Maine beach, a daughter's eyes, an inky star-sprinkled sky, hours of computer keystrokes that tell a story--or all of the above?

Wow, stunning! Sorry about your tough week. Horrible week here, just beside myself. Have gone out for a walk every day, so that's a start. Otherwise behind on everything. But I haven't killed anyone? Grasping at straws... Don't kill anyone, Alice!

Lol I will not kill anyone, Liz!!!! Xo
Delete“Feeling bad is the trigger my addiction craves”. JUST MINDBLOWING how that rings true. Who knew our brains would choose to feel bad because it’s familiar, and is the excuse to let us of the hook! It’s ok this time because I feel bad. I need this!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry for the bad times and the bad feelings. Hang in there, don’t kill anyone!
You too, Liz, thinking of you.
Xoxo,
Nan
Nan, thank you. Haha this joke of don’t kill anyone.....exactly. Sometimes sugar has driven me to a very dark place. Not proud of that. Working to be a good person. I’m sending love to you, and Liz, Kim. Alice xo
