Skippy and I biked about 15 miles on the bike path today. We pedaled to the Hot Chocolate Sparrow in Orleans (iced coffee for me, beloved Frozen Mocha Sparrow for her). Then we pedal pushed back to Great Pond in Eastham and took a dip before biking home.
I was on the very old black Raleigh that stays here in the house with a twin--gears don’t work, seat uncomfortable, but gets the job done. We rented a blue bike for Skip at Idle Times, about $32 from 1 p.m. today til 5 p.m. tomorrow.
I love that path so much. The peace of biking past ponds and woods. No cars. Quiet peace. But hit some rough road blocks with teen behavior today, too.
