A big glass bottle ($2 deposit) from White Orchard Farm and a plastic jug from Misty Brook Farm, both in Maine. (I try to buy milk in cardboard cartons or glass bottles to avoid plastic, but sometimes, the creamy milk must be bought, even in plastic.)
Fresh milk is just one thing I love about the Belfast Co-op store. As I phase out sweets and treats, whole milk so far remains as a simple pleasure. Skippy and Dan love it, too. Tonight, dessert was fresh organic raspberries with farm milk or yogurt. We ate it by candlelight in Pat and Martha’s backyard.
Night.

Yay, Maine! Fresh berries, creamy milk, and candlelight! Such loveliness!
