Glittery Cityscape Bathed in Jewel Tones

I saw the best city in the world driving home from Whole Foods West Orange on Upper Mountain Avenue tonight.

Montclair is 13 miles west of New York City and a magnet 🧲 for families seeking diversity and writers, artists, actors and others who want a pretty house on a tree-lined street and a fast commute to that metropolis.

When the leaves are down and the view is clearer, a beautiful light show is laid out before you, whether you pull your car over on Upper Mountain or Highland Road or look to your left when taking exit 154 off the Garden State Parkway South.

The moon was high and bright. The cityscape looked like a collection of soaring Tiffany crystal paperweights with brilliant, faceted gemstones throwing beams of light, pink and white and yellow. The paperweights were stacked shoulder to shoulder on the famous island.

I love New York. I miss New York and will head back again soon.

Precious treasure in our midst.
