Keep the Faith--and the Chocolate

I bought dark SunSpire cacao chips today @ Kings.
Much pricier than NestlĂ© Toll House Morsels--
this 9-ounce bag was $6.49--but do taste purer,  less waxy.
Unless I'm imagining it. They're $6.29 @ veganessentials.com,
but then you have to deal with shipping.
That's all I can muster up tonight. Three words: Keep the faith. Better days ahead, I trust.

Good night.

TCOY
  1. Half-hour morning walk in rain with red umbrella.
  2. Walked Sug around block once.
  3. Ice water.
  4. Awesome trail mix, not too much, with plump apricots and nuts, and not too many organic chocolate chips. [Drats, just remembered from Patsy's last boot camp newsletter that the best chocolate for us healthwise is 60 percent cacao content or higher.]
  5. Spinach salad, ripe avocado, fresh corn, filet of sole.
P.S. Speaking of "virtuous" chocolate, my friends Michael and Heidi got me two fabulous Honeymooners--turtle-esque pecan, caramel, chocolate treats--from Whole Foods in Paramus. The caramel had mellow, intoxicating notes of bourbony vanilla and butter. Must visit that candy counter one day.
