Pretty in Purple and Pink and Fuchsia

It could have been worse.
I could have bought an 8-pack, instead of a twin pack. But what I am going
through is hard, and it felt good to sink my teeth into something soft.
Saw so many storybook blooms today, many up close in my neighborhood, some through a car window as we drove by.....purple wisteria; lavender lilacs; fuchsia, coral, violet and dove-white azaleas; baby-pink peonies; flowering trees in white and purple and pink. So gorgeous.

H. also got me some beautiful apricot and red roses, and filled a white pitcher with lilacs from our old tree.

These flowers, they all have their own big beauty contest going. It would be impossible to choose a winner, to bestow a crown.

Good night.

TCOY
  1. Mass--food for the soul and mind.
  2. Walked Sug down to pretty little fairy-tale block, then back up the hill.
  3. Ice water.
  4. Turkey on whole wheat toast.
  5. Big kiss on Figgy's forehead, and I got one back, too.
  6. Talked to Sis, Moey, Meggy, Punch and her Mommy, and my mother-in-law, Mary.
  7. Tracked my spending, though faltered greatly on my eating. And I mean milkshake and Devil Dogs faltering. Tomorrow is another day. And I trust that realizing that, seeing it clearly, is another way to TCOY.

  1. Good job on the 2-pack option – as opposed to the 8-pack. Not so bad and tomorrow (today) is another day. Hope things are progressing with Figgy. Take care. Love, Lin
