Safe Home

My part of the drive home from Maine [a couple hours] involved steering into the purple-streaked sunset in New Hampshire, then through Massachusetts....very pretty and inspiring....building domes silhouetted against burning colors as H. dozed next to me, Sug settled in on the console and Figgy sketched her version of Alice in Wonderland in the back seat....happy to be home, with peppermint-striped candles lit on the mantel. Grateful for the hospitality of John and Leah up in Maine, opening their door to us so graciously.

1. Bought a half chef's salad to go at Belfast Co-op, and ate it at rest stop on way home. Yum.
2. Resisted chips and big, soft, hot, doughy, freshly rolled and buttered Auntie Anne's toasted almond pretzel.
3. Planning yoga tomorrow morning if it works out....hope my foot is OK for it, think so.
