Expanding My Vocabulary

Writing about multimillion-dollar estates in towns like Alpine, NJ--where stars like Eddie Murphy and Britney Spears have plunked down money over the years for their own "golden" house keys--has taught me a lot of new words over the past couple years. Such as:

• Koi pond
• Fossilized stone
• Terrazzo pool
• Gunite pool
• Onyx [not the jewel stone I've seen in a ring]
• Silver drawers [21 enchanting drawers built into pretty dining room wall for your silver service]

It's actually kind of enriching to know and understand how other people handpick and appreciate the finer things in life. It's educational. I feel more cultured. Good night.

4. Walked Sug around block once.
5. Made soup with handfuls of fresh spinach.

TCOY goal: Have a bowl of plain yogurt with banana or apple and walnuts for a snack tomorrow! You eat too much junk food, not enough healthy stuff! Give yourself a fair chance!
