| These are my favorites from Fig's line. |
Figgy opened an Etsy shop! Here's the link: http://www.etsy.com/shop/ItsDefDifferent. She's been busily cutting, sewing, painting, bleaching, dying and studding.
That's Moey's daughter, Laura, modeling the sleeveless denim vest and another friend modeling the T-shirt. Fig took a couple hundred dollars out of her hard-earned savings account @ Chase Bank....and invested in vintage denim shorts and jackets--plus, at A.C. Moore, fabric paints, and via mail-order, a slew of metal studs.
My favorite is the American flag shorts: Check the view of the hand-painted back pockets. I am fixing to buy a white denim skirt and have her do that on the back pockets.

TCOY
- Boot camp in the park.
- Walked Sug around block once and over on Bradford loop once.
- Nap.
- Important recovery work/thinking. Ran into someone I know to talk!
- Bought a pretty new lipstick...at Whole Foods.

Hi Alice. First of all… how cute!!! Secondly, it must have taken Figgy a very long time to design and create the items and then build the website (plan it all out, organize, price merchandise, etc.). Wow. You have a very smart, focused and talented teenager. Good luck to her!!! Love, Linda
ReplyDeleteLin, thank you.....again, she reminds me of you as a teenager..with your sewing and your cool looks.....Figgy is taking her sewing camp this week.....she picked out some really pretty rose-strewn fabrics to make a pillow for her room and PJs....i hope we are still on for tomorrow? we can't get there till around 1 b/c of Sis and Don coming from CT first....we would happily take you all out to lunch or else of course we can do it at home, whatever works....love you. al
