Good Day, Sunshine

Had a pretty good day. Also made a nice supper: Fresh fettuccine, a sauce made with lots of local [Pennsylvania] mushrooms, fragrant sage, garlic and white wine, and some goat cheese and feta at the table, to crumble on top. For Figgy, Charlotte and me: Pan-browned chicken sausages on the side.

Good night.

TCOY
  1. Boot camp out in the sunshine.
  2. Walked Sug around the block.
  3. Good tooth care.
  4. Hot bath in rose-scented bubbles.
  5. Nap.
  6. Healthy dinner.
  7. Realized, once again, after talking to friend/mentor Patsy, that I should try my hardest to avoid bringing trigger foods into the house. This time it was honey BBQ dry-roasted peanuts. I can't have just one palmful.

  1. I really ban the trigger foods from my home. This helps a lot. My problem becomes when I'm out and about by myself. Any excursion feels like an excuse for a treat on the run.

And hot bath in rose-scented bubbles!? Fabulous!

  2. thanks for the note Kim....I try to avoid having trigger foods @ home but sometimes don't succeed...due to store sale, unclear thinking, misguided thoughts...sigh...hope you're good alice :)

  3. I agree about the trigger foods but sometimes I just go ahead and buy them, almost (but not quite) intending to eat it all. Then I do eat it all, so maybe it was intentional after all. Sigh.
