Had a pretty good day. Also made a nice supper: Fresh fettuccine, a sauce made with lots of local [Pennsylvania] mushrooms, fragrant sage, garlic and white wine, and some goat cheese and feta at the table, to crumble on top. For Figgy, Charlotte and me: Pan-browned chicken sausages on the side.
Good night.

Good night.
TCOY
- Boot camp out in the sunshine.
- Walked Sug around the block.
- Good tooth care.
- Hot bath in rose-scented bubbles.
- Nap.
- Healthy dinner.
- Realized, once again, after talking to friend/mentor Patsy, that I should try my hardest to avoid bringing trigger foods into the house. This time it was honey BBQ dry-roasted peanuts. I can't have just one palmful.
I really ban the trigger foods from my home. This helps a lot. My problem becomes when I'm out and about by myself. Any excursion feels like an excuse for a treat on the run.
ReplyDeleteAnd hot bath in rose-scented bubbles!? Fabulous!
thanks for the note Kim....I try to avoid having trigger foods @ home but sometimes don't succeed...due to store sale, unclear thinking, misguided thoughts...sigh...hope you're good alice :)
ReplyDeleteI agree about the trigger foods but sometimes I just go ahead and buy them, almost (but not quite) intending to eat it all. Then I do eat it all, so maybe it was intentional after all. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteHi Nan! are you back from your birthday and your trip? thanks for the note. alice
