A Little Blurry, But You Get the Picture

• This is my first try taking a photo with my iPhone 5 and loading it on my blog. Please bear with me. I plan to improve. And even though the image is blurry, I think the love is clear. I like that Punch goes up to Fig's room to watch her do her makeup. Figgy lets Punch put on a little.
• Figgy dyed her auburn hair pink and purple a few weeks ago. Pushing the envelope. Strangely, I've gotten used to it and almost like it. She tells me she'll have it back to her natural auburn by Prom, June 20.
• Punch is wearing my T-shirt because her clothes were in the wash.
• That's my accessory organizer hanging on my closet; I love knowing where things are and seeing them in color instead of hiding them away.
• The small mahogany chest of drawers at left was next to my mother's bed in Dumont and is now in our bedroom. I really like it. It used to be filled with things like early 1950s brochures for new mothers and notebooks in which my Mom had jotted timing on family car drives to the Cape. Under our care, it contains some cough drops, reading lights and other odds and ends.

1. Made healthy breakfast with ripe tomato, egg, a little fresh mozzarella.
2. Walked Puff around block.
3. Private Benjamin.
4. Wore pretty pink scarf in my hair; cheered me as I worked.
5. Hooray, the Nantucket Red skirt I ordered from Murray's Toggery Shop on Nantucket arrived today. I wanted a new denim skirt to wear, especially with Texas this weekend. I like it over black leggings b/c it is a little short. I've wanted one of these cute skirts for a while. And I also don't want to be wearing too many stretchy-waisted things b/c then I think I eat more.
