I adore that puffball. |
Now we're in Montclair again...I liked the way my grandparents' mahogany table looked against the window when we walked in near 8 P.M.
I also liked meeting two women named Sheila and Barbara--mother-in-law and daughter-in-law traveling together--at the Cranmore Inn in North Conway. They were playing a word game called Skip-bo. I liked Eddie, the innkeeper, who moved there from South Orange, NJ with his partner and their two cute young kids and makes jewelry. I bought a pretty pair of his drop earrings with pearl and turquoise stones for $25.
Well, good night.

- Napped while H. drove and it felt good. Then I drove some, and he napped, which also felt good to me. Peace washes over me when I'm at the wheel safely driving someone I love.
- Have been thinking about something negative and trying to come to terms with it rather than let it immobilize me. I mulled over a couple of ideas on how to proactively avoid that guilty road.
Portraits of newfound calm. Love them!
ReplyDeletethank you Kim i was thinking as we were driving back and talking about politics and other topics without Figgy in the backseat that it could be pleasant, that road before us....
