Mediation at courthouse in Newark and back-to-school night this evening. Tomorrow, back to Newark again for a court hearing that will officially declare us as Punchy's legal guardians, not foster parents. But our mutually agreed-on goal--after 3 [often nightmarish, for me] mediation sessions and a trial run of visits--will be that Punchy will have an overnight with her mom once a month. Good night.
