FYI, I would like a good piece of dark-as-night chocolate, maybe dipped in Skippy SuperChunk Peanut Butter, right about now!
MOOD NOTE: But I'm plodding along and feel more energized without the sweets in my day.
Will have yogurt with walnuts soon.
Thanks for being there.

Hmmm, Whole Life Challenge? January is a great time to start, I'll be in the doldrums then. And I like the social aspects. I have to confess, sustaining something that intense for 8 whole weeks will be a challenge for me. I'm mulling it over...
ReplyDeleteMeantime, I've slipped back to a bad habit of bedtime sweets, the time I have the least willpower. Last night's too much dark chocolate (plus stress) kept me tossing and turning much longer than usual. I blame it on the caffeine. So yogurt is a better choice!
Nan, to be honest, i have not read carefully about the challenge. I heard it's one glass of wine a week and no sugar or carbs. As I mentioned, my friend Patsy modified what she did, did not eliminate all of that, and still found it helpful. I will read it over. I hope that your stress will soon leave the room. Love, Alice
Deletemmmm...I can't have sugar or starches, so peanut butter I can have and I do. And extremely dark chocolate. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Back Porch Writer--and I like that name!
