Deep Breath, Irish Coffee

Punchy is on a sleepover with a second grade pal. So H. and I scooted to Tierney's* to meet our friends Anne + Michael. I had Irish coffee and a burger. Now we are relaxing, watching "Saturday Night Live." I'll be picking Punch up at 10:15 for Mass. Good night.

*Tierney's is a popular tavern that has been on Valley Road in Montclair since 1934.

2. Grocery shopped for bananas, avocados, sauerkraut, Alpine Swiss slices, brown "Fitness" bread, yogurt, grapes, raspberries and more.

3. H., Punch, Sug and I walked for over an hour this afternoon at Mills Reservation.

4. Seeing our friends for child-free time.

5. Made recipe for roasted yam wedges from Gjelina Restaurant in Venice, Calif [via NY Times magazine].
