Punchy, top right, on what H.
jokingly called the Good Ship
Lollipop. The boat left at 1:30
w kids and camp counselors
for a voyage to the candy store.
Tim Porta, Migis Lodge owner,
drove the boat.
Tim Porta and son, Jed Porta. Their
family has owned the lodge since
1968.
Today's lunch cookout featured hotdogs, burgers, veggie burgers, tender jerk chicken, grilled cheese over the fire, crumb-topped haddock, seafood salad, delicious lemonade, bowls piled with fresh fruit, green salad, good coffee, apple crisp,
cookies and genuinely perfect brownies [fudgy and moist, with the thinnest crackly layer on top]. I asked Jed if there was a special recipe for the brownies and said I understood if it was a secret and couldn't be shared. I'm not sure how special it is and it isn't a secret, he said. But they've tasted this good for as long as I can remember.
TCOY
1. Took a nap on Adirondack chair looking at lake. The breeze coaxed me to sleep. Gift. Loved it.
2. Ice water.
