Dreamland Awaits

I used to write full blog posts every day, for years and years. But sometimes I'm too tired now, with 10- and 21-year-old daughters living under our roof and keeping us on our toes. Still, a lot of TCOY today:

1. Good health care.
2. $25 blowout by Brian at Salon 212 [available Tuesdays and Wednesdays before 3 p.m.] I brought along my Bumble and Bumble spray in Dark Blonde so he could cover up the gray after smoothing and drying. Brian=Hard rock angel brandishing bright turquoise blow dryer.
3. Talked to my brother Will, who puts a smile on my face.
4. Falafel on pita.
5. Dropped off the beautiful long silver Ippolita Rock Candy chain with stones that H. got me for Christmas maybe 4 years back at Frederic Goodman Jewelers. It is so pretty, but tarnished. Sent it off to be polished.
6. Went to Testa Opticians and got a really nice pair of readers, and a case to keep them in, with cloth to clean lenses.
7. Tall iced coffee for 96 cents. Sandwich Theory offers Happy Hour, all iced drinks half price from 3 to 6 p.m.
