A Wednesday to Remember

Life holds hard Wednesdays and easy ones. This will be the only Wednesday in our and her lives that involves Punchy’s 4th grade performance in the school dance show.

She looked so happy.

To sit among parents, grandparents and siblings, clapping at the small [or tall] people in sequins is a shared honor. Many of us clutched supermarket bouquets and long-stem red, coral and yellow roses purchased in the lobby [$2 each or 3 for $5].

Here’s a photo taken after, Punch at right.

  • Walked around block.
  • Weeded a little and fed my flowers.
  • Still mourned the news of fashion designer Kate Spade’s death the day after. She was 55 and took her own life, leaving a husband and 13-year-old daughter. My heart is heavy.
  • Important phone call/shared wisdom.
  • Nice nap w Sug.
  • Asparagus.
  • Dan made [prepared] manicotti for dinner so I dashed to Kings to get salad w grilled chicken at salad bar. Avoiding pasta.
  • Talked to Sis.

Good night to you.
